As a guest, it is easy to make smart environmental choices when you dine at a Sodexo café. We know today's college students want to do the right thing for the planet and we also understand you lead busy lives, so your Sodexo chefs and managers do a lot of the work for you behind the scenes!

From purchasing local seasonal produce whenever possible to reducing inorganic and organic waste, your campus team is dedicated to providing you with an exceptional dining experience that is good for you and good for the planet.

Waste Reduction

Reducing organic and inorganic waste are other areas in which we are committed to working with our campus partners to make a real difference. Monson Dining Center utilizes reusable cups, plates, and utensils, and trains employees on waste reduction to reduce the amount of food, packaging, energy, and other resources that are wasted.

Reusable To-Go Containers

Take your food on the road (or down the hallway) by enrolling in our to-go program. A one time purchase will get you a reusable container for the whole year. Just return your used Eco-Container for a new one anytime you want to get food to-go from the DC!

By choosing to receive your food in a reusable container through the Eco-Container program we reduce waste and save space in landfills. Everyone wins (especially the environment).

Barthold Farms

We send many of our kitchen food scraps to a local pig farm to use for sustainable food for the pigs.
